VERY GOOD COLLECTION OF HFSS 10 PROJECTS

i need for 80 to 110 ghz, but the results doesn't like to me
can you do a hffs structure?
i think that my problem is the air boundary radiaton to catch the microstrip, because waveguide has a perfect e boundary.
my english is very bad, sorry xd

microstrip suffers from a high loss due to excitation of higher order modes in 80 GHz band. so, it's better to use CPW.

Does anyone by chance have an example for a patch antenna on a high impedance surface (AMC) such as the one in the drawing below?

Re: hfss yagi examples

can any body help in designing a helical array in hfss for 2.4GHz.
this is not the whole project. i also want to use a cavity for each antenna so that the antennas are conformed.
but i am stuck at impedance matching implementation. can any body help me?

Is there a tutorial explaining how to design a rectangular patch with coax feed? step by step kind of thing???

Thanks!!

If you ever come by the same antenna but with AMC as the antenna's ground plane please let me know :):)

AMC = Mushroom like EBG structure ;)
