SIM900 Customer Flash Loader

I turned it on, i sent some at commands:


+CPIN: NOT INSERTED

+CFUN: 1

AT

OK

AT+GMR

Revision:1137B08SIM900A32_ST

OK


but after it sim900 turned off and I can not turn it on! I heard that this happened for some guys! and they could not turn it on!

anyone know why? how can I use it again?

PS: the power supply is 12V 2A, using LM7805 and 1N4007 to make 4.2V...

A very bad decision !!!

NO USE LDO !!!!

I own an evaluation board, and it uses MIC29302 to get the 4.2v for the SIM900, it works perfectly!
why dont use LDO if the supplier does?
Also, LDO are considerer better that any DC-DC converter when trying to avoid any noise, since DC-DC could deliver some high frecuency noise that in case of SIM900 could be critical

In other issues, still lookng for 1137B04SIM900B64_SAMSUNG or later firmwares,anyone?

I need to use SIM900 to decode DTMF. Any one know how to do, please tell me. I have try many firmware version (B06,B08,B10,B11) only receive "ERROR" when I type AT+DDET=1

u should upgrade your firmware to version 1137B08SIM900M64_ST_DTMF_JD_MMS i would attach that here in the post ,

Actually i also faced the same problem after upgrading the firmware it was OK,

Does anyone have firmware for SIM900 which can decode DTMF and have whiteList function?
I have found only one firmware for DTMF decode (1137B08SIM900M64_ST_DTMF_JD_MMS), but it has not got whiteList function. Does any one have firmware that have DTMF and whiteList function, please share me. Thanks

I just want to make sure I am getting this straight. I have an EVB and SIM900 modems. The Firmware that is pre-loaded is Revision:1137B11SIM900M64_ST.....Am I understanding correctly, that in order to access the MMS AT commands....I have to change the firmware? It currently spits out errors when I try to use any of the MMS commands.
