I want to make my own ASIC however i am new to this field, i want to know can i use FEDORA ELECTRONICS LAB software with EDA tools for asic design. and how to use fab libraries. as i heard that after the code synthesis in xilinx , one need to edit the schematic and use fab libraries for memory and other analog parts. what would be the other cheapest way to design asic. Does any one have experience in ASIC tape out. and would like to guide me.
