Hi,

I have done measurements on a SAR ADC that somebody else has designed. It is a 12-bit conventional SAR ADC with bridge-capacitor architecture for the DAC. The photo shows the output of the ADC for an input sine wave. As you see, the bit 5 is very inactive. This is what I do not understand. I also do not see this in the simulations. I have tested several chips and all are the same. Also there are tow ADCs on the chip and both showing this issue. Does anybody have a clue.
