I want to learn verilog at home.
Boy, you really need to be spoon-fed, don’t you?

Try this:
1) Buy a computer.
2) turn it on.
3) Search “free verilog simulator “
4) download one of the many free verilog simulators
Also, most free FPGA tools come with free simulators.

Which one do you use? Or which one is recommended here?
I use Questasim. It costs well over US$1000. Does that answer your question? No, of course not.

You stubbornly refuse to listen. You keep asking the same question and getting the same answer.

You can use commercial Verilog/SystemVerilog simulators offered by startup companies. As far as I know, some of them respond quickly and offer a rather long trial period.

Yes, both Verilator or icarus + GTKwave is ok. They are free tools for study.
This's episode talks how to install Verilator + GTKwave, and a simple example to start up.

edaplayground is also ok. https://www.edaplayground.com/

By the way, a good podcast on Youtube to study Verilog. It has many circuit diagram, verilog code and waveforms.
Is free and open source simulator like icarus verilog good to use?

This is a 6m old thread.
Since the OP has not responded, in my opinion, it needs to be closed or Marked as Solved before the new members try to give the same answers!

Otherwise someone else in maybe 8 more months will again try to provid ethe same answers!
