which pcb tools is best
been using vutrax (www.vutrax.co.uk) for the last 18 years and not needed to look at any other packages - maybe that says something? It handles schematic, pcb, and can do all your metal work drawings - though I have now moved on to a 3d cad for drawings. It is good in the way there are many command line commands that make it quick to use. Try the demo - most commands are available as icons or right click but mostly learn the keyboard commands they are much quicker.
