Hello, all friends:

I'm a digital engineer,

I want to know what's a analog pad's

function and structure,

for digital pads, they are use to isolate internal

nodes and external load and provide enough current drive ability.

but they output level needn't be very precise.

what's a analog pad's function?

best regards

Analog pads have ESD protection circuitry .

But digital pads also has ESD protection.

best regards

Just connect internal node to outside, also with ESD protection.

Some RF pad may need small cap, then the ESD protection will be sacrificed

It depends on what type of analog pad.

A very simple one is just a piece of metal with ESD protections to the rails. Input analog pads could add a small poly resistor between bond pad anc core terminals.

There exist also analog pads composed by voltage followers made of OpAmps.
