I always thought there is no effect of crosstalk on common path for setup and hold as common path delay is not factored in setup and hold equations. Isn't that so ?

Crosstalk can introduce timing uncertainty in the clock edge arrival times due to delay variations.
This jitter affects the effective clock period for setup and hold checks, reducing timing margins.
