ohh yes capacitance measurement that is wonderful idea ...

Goldsmith I would be grateful if u provide me the details for the question

Why a water level indicator shown above requires 6V why not 5V or 7V

can u please eloberat on the concept?

Thanks in advance

and yes I know its a badly designed circuit
the circuit goes like this
230V-6V Step down
the from the leads to the bridge rectifier and the other at the base of water tank
and the other end of the bridge rectifier is in the water
I hope u got what i am talking about
Now i get the Unrectified DC which i dont filter it and give directly to the transistor with a filter CAPacito

Hi Sid
Did you see my post which was related to you ? did you try to answer what i've asked about principles of transistor ? if yes so what ? all you need is understanding how a simple transistor does work .
I can suggest you some books so you can understand how such a circuit going to work but if you're interested in .

Best Wishes
Goldsmith

Hello,

The voltage is so selected that it does not increase the VBE max voltage. And it shd have enough voltage for the transistor to conduct.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks
