Well in the case that if you need work with Matlab and FPGAs, System Generator work with Xilinx's FPGA but to altera exist DSP Builder a case similar to work wiht Matlab and altera's FPGA, you can get information here:

For the DSP Builder you need to have quartus II of the same version. Even it will NOT work with the free web edition of Quartus II
Does anybody have a patch for quartus II 9.0v????

I m currently working on implementing a deblurring algorithm from MATLAB on Altera FPGA.
Is there any way to do it except for DSP builder or system generator????
