I have an old motorcycle headlight that I am attempting to atttach to a bicycle. I want to replace the bulb with another bulb that can run off of 2C batteries. What is the brightest bulb I can get that wont drain the batteries right away. I can not go any bigger than 2C because I want it all to fit inside the headlight.

...why don't you drill small holes and setup 3 to 9 LEDs...and the focussing would be done by the reflector surface...this will not only give you more battery life but more light too...

i would suggest LED's also.

i had also read, at Google search, about a circuit that can utilize you're battery until drained...
