The ’HC240 and ’HCT240 are inverting three-state buffers
having two active-low output enables. The CD74HC241,
’HCT241, ’HC244 and ’HCT244 are non-inverting threestate
buffers that differ only in that the 241 has one activehigh
and one active-low output enable, and the 244 has two
active-low output enables. All three types have identical
pinouts.
Im Building a MSP430 FET programmer and it uses a 74HC244, but i cant find any local distributers that have this part.
here is the schematic of what im building:
I have ordered it in october last year.
But I have checked now, and you are right, they stopped sending samples of mature products.
Maybe you can search for a 244 family compatible device in the new products for whigh they give samples
What type of footprint do your pcb have?
if the TSSOP package is ok you can order sample from TI of
SN74AHC244QPWR
Otherways when you are in the sample request form of TI if you click on "Browse TI Product Family Tree" you can see all the non inverting buffer thet they can send you.
