[SOLVED] SMPS Power Inverter with TL494,1404

I strongly doubt that 4 parallel 23 AWG wires can handle 500 VA power... what current density for 23 AWG wire are you assuming KG300 ?
 

hy kg300,Hope you will be fine,,,,,i have made the pcb of 1500watt inverter and placed all components,but it's not working,,just led lights up and buzzer speaks,,TL494 is not giving output while input voltage is present at 8,11 and 12 pin of it,,,,please help me.
 

Give me the model number of this inverter and I will try to get the Circuit Diagram for you. This is a Chinese origin inverter. Q1 and Q2 are special package transistors. I have one complete circuit of another inverter from the same category. I will try to locate the file on my PC and will upload here, if I get. :)

can u help me designing an smps circuit ? the details are output : 7kv 1.5Amp
input : 115v 3phase , or 480v dc
frequency is optional ;)
 

what is TC1 in 1500 watt inverter???????

is Buzzer continues speak?
TC1 is 300 Ohm NTC Thermisto and mus be place on circuit. If you not have TC1, simply place 270 Ohm Resistor in TC1.
For easily Diagnose the fault, remove LM324 from circuit and run inverter and then check the Gate Voltages on both side MOSFETs. On DC side FETs there must be 4 to 5 volts. On AC side FETs there must be 5 to 6 volts.

yes,buzzer continusly speaking...by removing lm324 6volt on ac side while no change in dc side i.e, 0 volt

Hello everyone I have been a part of this forum for some time now and it is so hard to find a pure sine wave inverter circuit with transformer output base . can anyone send me a link thank u I would really appreciate.
 

1500 Watt Inverter using TL494, LM324, CD4013B, NE556.
you can use 75N75 on DC side and IRF740 on Output side. Use IE40H ferrite core with 3+3 turns on Primary side and 63 turns on secondary side.

kg300, thank you for the post. Please give the winding details of the transformers. It will make it easy to complete the project.
 
KG300 You are amazing man Cool one fully Detailed and Files.... For the transformer if the turns are available it's better if not i can calculate it i just will wind my first smps transformer

by the way if i have an ETD39 core how many cores do i need to use it instead of the E55 and what is the best connection parallel primary and eries secondary or what? which is power efficient and less sensitive to winding error??

Here is the circuit. The oscillator based on SG3525 but u can use tl494, and lm339 with lm342. Add more power FET's to get more power.

Hi Master kg300,

What is the purpose of diodes (d10 and d11) across drain-source of upper mosfets?
