post 19 (the molex web link) shows all the ills of the crimping process.....I doubt any human being can be guaranteed of properly crimping 1000 pico blade connectors in one day of work. They are just too small and fiddly.
Remember there are no machines that can do crimping.....its a human with a crimping tool...the anvils of the crimping too can become slightly misaligned...etc, etc.
pico blade crimps are tiny....no living person could do a batch of 1000 of them and get all perfect.
