i had done the same thing jayanth...then why didn't i get the output.........can u find any errors?or am i missing some logic in the adc conversion?

Show me where you did the same thing. Where were you assigning ADC result to PORTB and C in your code?

I didn't say that i did the same thing just like your code......i wrote the code just like as per in the extreme electronics website..

If 5V is ADC input and 10 bit ADC then you get 1023 on LCD if TAD is configured properly. For 5V all the 10 LEDs should light up.

Fixed code attached. result was a 8 bit variable. Changed it to 16 bit.
