I am confused regarding cut that we make on ground plane . What should be the size of that cut(radius). Will it be equal to radius of Coax as per tutorial of hfss or it will be equal to probe. Because its the probe that goes inside substrate. If we cut ground as per size of coax our antenna will become defective ground antenna.Make me correct if i am wrong.
