what is electromigration analysis ?

can anyone tell me what does a circuit design application engineer do?....I've seen the posting has something to do with power analysis and electromigration
 

I suppose that he has to work also on sth about thermic effects on PCB during implemenation.
 

Maybe dif application engineer have dif works,and the same is "Electrical ".
