Analog verification may be categorized into two threads
1) Analog functional verification and
2) analog performance verification.
I can understand that verifying the functionality of the circuit is known as the functional verification, such as INL, DNL, offset error, gain error these are the part of functional verification of an ADC.
Then, what are the performance verification of an ADC?
In general, what is the difference between analog functional verification and analog performance verification?

I have seen these terms being used for digital, for analog it's so damn hard to separate functionality from performance.
