microcontroller interfacing with GPS

Hello guys!

I need help on my final year project. My title is "Garmin GPS 18PC precision modeling". The device need to be set up for 10meters apart for static evaluation of gps positioning/precision. The parameters are: positioning,intensity,number of sattelites and time. How each parameter affect the accuracy of the data need to be determine.

I dont know how to collect the data from the GPS 18PC.
- Which sofware should i use ?
- Where can i get example of datasheet for this Garmin GPS 18PC?

Please help me because im stuck right now. :cry::cry::cry:
