Hi,

Here is PCB, SCH and HEX file for ICD2. Works with RS232 and USB.

Important: The PCB is wrong! L3 go to pin7 on MC34063 and pin5 on U8 go to +VUSB and R31 goto R32, not R33.

The shematic is OK.

Microchip don't supply the firmware for CY7C64603.

CY7C64603 is pre-programmed.It's EZ-USB FXTM USB Microcontroller

The installation doc says that it first downloads the EZUSB firmware to the ICD2...

Guys,
There is a small icd2.bin file in icd2.zip and @ icd.bol.bg this is contents of 24c01 eeprom connected to CY7C64603. I think there is some boot-up settings in the eeprom. CY7C64603 comes preprogrammed. I’m planning to use icd2 with serial interface / CY7C64603 is very difficult to find …. / Maybe the easiest way is to use standalone USB to RS232 converter.

can someone ,good in designing PCB's , give us a pcb like the one on MCU files , a single sided pcb with Thru hole components ( or at least a thru hole , double sided pcb will be super) ??
its difficult for all of us to get to SMD's.

No, only in czech language But schematic is readable, no ???
