hi all,
do u know any information about loading model of ethernet phy?
The phy is current driven driver, and the load is usually a tranfromer with 100 ohm load between TXP and TXN and it will connected to twist pair line.
my question is :
what is the simulation model of tranformer used in PHY, and should I include the twist pair load in my simulation of driver?

thanks in advance.

Usually, we got the transformer model from the vender.

And in driver design, I think it is not necessary to include the model of twist pair.

But in recevier design, you should model the twist pair load very carefully.
