Is there a method to derive time constant of multiple RC circuits??

Hi Eduardo,

I must confess your treatment of the transfer function (partial fraction) in posting #15 and the results are perfect and convincing. Congratulation. Finally, I must agree that for the circuit under discussion it is possible indeed to define one single time constant that determines the time behaviour of the step response. Thank you.
