if you learn t something about your controller ,then you need a programmer .(with respective controller's)
for example 8051
then we need a controller (at89s51).
and a programmer which can made your self ,it mentioned earlier (if you need just post ).
Again we need a programmer software (PonyProg - Serial device programmer)

through this we ca burn the hex format program to the 89s51

I generally use micro-controllers with IAP (In Application Programming).
hence I can program them via serial port without any external programming hardware.

what you mean .withou any external hardware ?

Yes it is possible.
I also program without any need of external prgrammer.
We write code in Keil.
using serial communication, i.e. UART. Just take out two pins RXD and TXD from microcontroler of ur circuit and connect it to pc using Max 232 IC and DB9 male to female connector.
and than using Flash Magic software (by Philips) you can easily burn hex file into ROM.
Now this Flash Magic software is limited to PHillips microcontroller.
I use phillips P89V51RD2BN. This MCU is almost similar to AT89c51. All instructions being same.
te difference lies in memory.
it has more.
I hope u got what i wanted to say.

Does Keil compiler has support for C language?

Google gave mi answer on my question - keil site

Can you share with us your experience and your oppion about Keil compiler?
