is it true for all pic controllers or only for 16fxxxx versions??? if i use crystal greater than 4MHz will create problem or any difficulty?????

Secondly if i wana use port A or port E as an input or out put port. how should i go? should i go with my code the same as my code in above post? or there any other register to configer for ADC??

Use of 0.1uF bypass capacitor should be a sandard practice. It is necessary for reliable opration. Setting wrong fuse setting for XT oscillator causes unreliable crystal operation.
