How to make a simple square wave generator (10 HZ to 100 HZ)

to be EXACT, the equation for the amended 555 timer should be:

T=In(4)RC
F=1/In(4)RC

I just like to be exact :p
 

Hi, is there any way to do the same (similiar) thing by using crytals. Thats, a variable frequency output for example between 1-10 kHz aquare wave generator.
