How to make a chatting program using threads in Java?

Hello everybody

I need to know how to make a chatting program using threads in java..and sockets...the program asks u the number of the port....the teacher told us we can find many codes on the internet to help us..but i couldn't find any code that i can use..i really need to find that code very soon..how can i make this program???
