HOW to download file from IP with serial modem connected with microcontroller.......?

HI all
i have a project to get a file from IP address (from internet) with the help of serial gprs modem that is connected with micro controller .any one have idea how to do it ??? i have to get file from internet and then store it in to the ram for further processing
