I still have my doubts whether to use average or rms function. They give different results, but literature is contradictory. Some of them use the integral of the instantaneous power divided by the period, which matches with rms at the output but average at the input. Others go directly to average in both input and output and others rms.
I'm seeing a difference of 10% between measurements, better efficiencies achieved using average.. so I think I'm gonna stick with it =D.
Does anybody know for sure which one to use, explaining why ?
