try to increase the slot width ...which inc the bandwidth... be careful the inc should b of minute variation..else the center freq shifts

my project involves similar design and i am referring to a book , "Compact and Broadband Microstrip Antennas" by Kin-Lu Wong, John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
It has coverd these issues nicely

Here is the book "Broadband Microstrip Antennas" by Girish Kumar Kumar and K. P. Ray, 2003 ARTECH HOUSE, INC.
I hope it would help.
