You can always use a PLL as a F->V converter, by using the VCO's buffered control voltage.

The 74HC40406 operates from a 2 to 5 volts supply.

can you recommend a circuit please ?

The 555 circuit above is a little interesting as the components connected to pin 7 do absolutely nothing to aid in the function of the circuit - is the circuit even correct?

The old XR2206 can e set up as a phase locked loop to give you F -> V

also the CMOS chip HEF4046 can be set as a F->V as it contains a PLL also...
can you give me a working circuit for XR2206 or HEF4046 please?
 

image.jpegIt is very similar to the Fm demodulator, but you'll use phase comparator 2.
