ok now same problem is happening with me too... i am trying to find out pwm frequency on my 470mm long pcb , using pic timer1 with gate mode. and mky error is 0.2% (i.e. for 1000hz it shows me 1002hz)
but i have to find solution on my own, (might be some loose connections)
