Features

  1. High stability and no sensitivity to the ambient light
  2. Laser-cut acrylic (plexiglass) enclosure
  3. Cost-effective
  4. Flow control capability of the hand-sanitizer/alcohol (efficiency)
  5. Through-hole components (easy to solder)
  6. Single-layer PCB board (easy to fabricate)
  7. Single and cheap ATTiny13 microcontroller
  8. Low standby current consumption

As we all know, the COVID-19 outbreak hit the world and changed our lifestyle. In this condition, alcohol and hand sanitizers are vital, expensive, and in some areas hard to find fluids, so, they must be used properly and efficiently. In the second version of the hand sanitizer dispenser device, I have addressed the previous design problems and introduced a device with no sensitivity to the ambient light and flow control capability of the alcohol/sanitizer. Therefore just enough amount of liquid will be poured on each request. The design uses a cheap ATTiny13 microcontroller.

This is much needed thing in this Covid situation. We all use hand sanitizers but after using the bottle we never sanitize the bottle itself and then the next person uses it. At the end the bottle ends up in the owners pocket and all the germ from all the people that have used the bottle ends up in the owner pocket. This tech can really help a lot of people as it is hand free. If you can make this device at a very less amount of money then it would be a big success as a lot of people wont be able to afford it if it is a bit pricy. Any ways great effort and great project.
