Fingerprint feature extraction - matlab

HI leekk, for the poincaré index algorithm that you posted,you used the orientation field estimation which was an NxN image.But with the algorithm that I used (the least square algo) the result is not an NxN image. So could you please Help Me.I'm realy confused.Can anybody help me.

Any one know how to extract the ridge features like ridge count,ridge length,ridge curvature direction,ridge type from a fingerprint image.???
If u have the code .plz help me with that.
