Each day I see more and more product designs using spring loaded contacts and connectors as the choice interconnect. There are many reasons for this: 1. The ability to make solderless connections to a gold plated circuit board pad. 2. The ability to make electrical connections to uneven surfaces 3. The ability to make blind mate connections 4. Spring pins are forgiving to tolerance stackup. I've included this one question, anonymous survey to see if what I am seeing is a growing trend. I will share my results with all members of my group. Thanks for participating Regards, Marty.
