Data transfer between GPRS modem and Remote server

AND you can send data from server to this modem with same command.

hi rafati,
the ip 10.10.1.100 is the address of vodafonelive of my service provider. i want to send the data to a known IP. i also saw your link
provided on https://www.edaboard.com/threads/147142/.
there i got the server and client configuration from namlooc.
 

I have no information about it.
Please if you find, POST it to me.

from the data sheet of simcom and TCP/IP application note of simcom, they used a TCP/IP server software to monitor the data transmission. i any body know about SIMCOM TCP/IP SERVER Software kindly provide the link.

Hi there,

i am using telit gsm/gprs module ge865-quad for gps data logging.
i have managed to make a get request from module to server and log the data.
now i want to do the opposite. I want the server to send a get request to the module.
Althought the modem receives the get request, i cannot figure it out what should be the http response to the server in order browser to complete the request. The browser continues loading until timeout error.

i have tried as a response the following:
1)
\x0D\x0A
2)
\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
3)
HTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
4)
\x0D\x0AHTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A
5)
\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0AHTTP/1.1 200 OK \x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A

any ideas?

you shode write
at+cgdcont=1,"ip","192.168.194.073"

if you see "no carier" again , maybe your pcb design is not suport good signal quality.

can U Help me on this Command:

AT+CGDCONT=1,IP,APN,PDP ADDRES

AT+CGDATA=1

we don't know exactly How to Use of this command
we have an error after use of AT+CGDATA=1 in C#
and we don't know how we can use it
and What's the PDP ADDRES ? is it the same as server ip address?
Can U show me a useful document about communication between GPRS and Computer or server about explanation of GPRS Networks and how to Connect to it?

Apparently, your software isn't prepared to initiate PPP communication.
 

Could I use SIM900B to send an email...
How can I do that?

ThiVu you cant send email with SIM900B Because this modem dont suport smtp protocol.

for send email provide wavecom modem

hi for all I'm here again I want to reply to your questions give me some time
I am working on a controlling system based on gprs I have worked it by using hyper terminal but now I have to do it by using pic device


firstly there are some problems here

1-)I dont know mostly transparent mode can you help me about this
2-)I have to do an online remote control what can I do for this
3-)and what are the rules that I have follow for gsm anntenna 3w rules and etc.


search this forum I try to search on my computer but I cant find it I remember this program is here coz I download it from here.

SIM900 can connect to any TCP/IP server port of your choice, of course it can also connect to a SMTP server. SMTP is basically a text based protocol, depending on the server requirements, you have to handle authentification in your program.

How is sequence command?
I tried to send data via TCP/HTTP and FTP function with SIM900B and it worked well..
But I dont know how to send email.

sorry I dont remember now but I had search on this forum about it.and googled about it by this I had found a way to send a mail its about smtp.sorry about my memory Icant remember it :(

Service provider is vodafone.
APN: portalnmms
Username:guest
Password:guest
Device is GPRS activated and I have received the GPRS Info as follows:
IP 10.16.172.232

Please let me know how I can read data through webserver using VB.NET
