LVDS is a connection which transports the image for the LCD and the touch inputs in the same cable?

No, would be the first touch display that uses a LVDS interface for the touch sensor.

More likely there's one connector for the TFT display LVDS interface and the other with regular x/y lines connecting to a multi-touch controller.
