You can zip at attach. email id is internetuser2k11@gmail.com I think breadboard design is the problem as you are using 16 MHz crystal. Write a code to blink an led and test it. See if led blinks. If not then problem is using breadboard.

No. It has nothing to do with LCD display. May be your LCD is not HD44780 compatible. Post the datasheet of your LCD or LCD model number.

i have 1 more question like
external voltage i can give upto maximum 5 voltage to pic microcontroller .....
but i need upto 20 volt and also can display on LCD
can i do that?

You have to scale down your 20 volts to 5V.
