I think the book by Samir Palnitkar is a very good one for begineers
in verilog. For VHDL, you may want a hand at Jairam Bhaskar's book.
Also check out the book on Logic Synthesis in Verilog by Bhasker.

hi

Some EDA tools has the ability to exchange the code of VHDL to\from Verilog. the main purpose of such code to simplify the design, not to learn many language for coding and forget the main function of it.

hi

The best teacher may be the EDA tools' user's guider. What EDA tools your are using, What user's guider you should read.

Thiago, I suggest this one, sir. You can download it from MCU without loss point.

you can search many document in the elektroda.

I recommand this book..
"HDL Chip Design
A practical guide for designing, synthesizing and sumulating ASICs and FPGAs useing VHDL or Verilg"

This book has been uploaded somewhere in the forum and also deleted 'cause it is Big. Can someone who has this book upload to mcu and provide the link please?

After you have a basic grasp of Verilog/VHDL I would recommend reading the Reuse Methodology Manual. There is a couple of nice chapters on guidelines for write clean synthesizable code.
