Hi everyone,

I come from a digital design background and haven't used analog much. Can anyone give me a brief overview of how analog circuits are designed? What is the general flow? What is the equivalent of, say, Altera Quartus or Xilinx ISE in the analog domain (if there is such).

I know this might be a comprehensive question, so if you direct me to resources or books on the subject, I will be very grateful.

Thanks.

if you are using cadence tool flow then
schematic entry > IC5141> vertuso Analog design enviroment
simulation> ic5141> spectre
layout> ic5141> vertuso layout
DRC> deacula or caliber
LVS> Caliber
