12v power fastest transient response solution

I noticed when I recording electric guitar through audio interface. the result is heavily affected by power transient response. dont know why my ac mains are very slow and my waveform is not sharp. im now looking for offline fast transient response 12v power solution? do you have any idea?
 
Are you saying that the power supply cannot provide greater power in an instant? If so, it depends on whether you are using a frequency power supply or a high-frequency power supply. The simplest way is to increase the capacity of the filtering capacitor. If it is not enough to increase the capacitance capacity of the high-frequency power supply, only the OCP protection point of the power supply can be increased (to prevent damage from power overload). If it is not enough, it is recommended to use a dedicated power supply for inductive loads (which can provide 3-5 times the rated power instantly).
 
You are correct 'Calm Down' if this was a power amplifier but this is only a recording amplifier, no significant power is consumed and it will be class A so the current consumption will be constant. The voltage feeding the amplifier is DC and seems to be constant, his is why we (without doubting falken1208's hearing) do not think this has anything to do with the AC line supply. There is an issue but we think it lies elsewhere.

If I draw an analogy, it's like a car always steering to the right but the driver insisting it's because the headlights are out of alignment.

AC interference is a possible measurement issue, but we do not know what was measured, how long the probe ground was, or where it was placed.

All DC regulators use capacitors on the output to provide a fast current transient response limited by the quality and ESR of the capacitor which could be at fault.
 
... it only draws a few mA Tony. It's a recording pre-amplifier for a guitar pick-up, all low power and (hopefully!) class A.

Agreed, I was just explaining why a fast transient regulator is unlikely to be relevant
