Hey guys,
How to begin to learn the analog circuit design, not the analog IC design?
Which book is good? How to learn to build up circuits?

This book is also good. Similar as Art of Electronics

Advanced Electronic Circuits, Titze and Schenk.

read the above books is a way,
another way is that you do the project and tapeout and test.
 

Try Microelectronic Circuit Design, 2/e Richard Jaeger, Auburn University. That's good for the beginners.b

i agree this one is excellent

gray and meyer - "analysis and design of analog integrayed circuits"

and also these

sergio franco - "design with opamp and analog integrated circiuts"- mcgraw hill

gayakwad - "opamps and linear integrated circiuts"
 

I suggest you one of the best book i have ever seen:
Electronic circuit analysis and design
By: Donald Neamen
 

reading books only won`t help you much try to start design to gain some pratical experince

i think this book is very good!
 

I think you should start with semiconductor theory. Know how and why a diode is built, then transistors, then other semiconductor devices.

Know your devices well before you use them to build circuits.

A fantastic book for begginers is Electronics Design and Circuits by Allen Mottershed.

Also be in a group which 'talks' Analog. This will also help a lot.

Then start asking questions and building small circuits on breadboard.

read books, practice small designs, starting from current reference/voltage reference, the amplifer. Building youself good fundymental on Opamp. Then choose one area: PLL, ADC/DAC, Filter, Power Management, etc. Need learn good tools as well.
 

two questions:
1) what tools to learn. I know only hspice.
2) which area is better in those areas you listed.

questions:
1)if you learn by yourself, then how can you practice to build small circuits on breadboard and test it? you buy your own components and test equipment? feel too hard to build circuits at home?
2) is there any book shows a lot of projects you can practice?
3) where to find a group to talk "analog" except here.

find some book of low frequency and high frequency 's book.
 

First,basic theory of semiconductor.Second,the key component.Final,design some circuit or sysetem.
 

I think you only master one book Paul gray "analysis and design of analog integrated circuit", you can solve different analog circuit problems.
 

The point of learn is to master a classic not all the books. Gray's book is such a book which called classic.
