nv ds60 viewfinder connection

I have red flashing light problem too, trying to fix it now

panasonic nv black screen error

Hi!

I again tried (after some time now) to check old recordings from dv-tapes with by nv-ds30. But camera started to chew some tape and the camera did actually warn me by flashing the light so there must have been some problems with reels.

Need to dig into the manual and see if there is something I could do.

Hi!

Warning! When the power led starts to flash and anything doesn't work immediatelly remove your tape in order to save your tape. Panasonic service takes care of these problems so take your peace to the service asap.

Service guys said that this problem is just not with panasonic but also other labels.

After taking off the bottom cover and having a little fiddle with the connector cable, all is now fixed!

panasonic nv-ds60 error codes

Had the LED blinking once every 2.5 seconds on NV- DS60. I had a fiddle with the T and S reel detector cable as described by dunfinc, and now camera works ok. Thanks dunfinc for info and photos.

It worked. My Panasonic NV-DS60EG have been flashing a red light. I just opened the bottom and adjusted some of the connectors as described by dufnic and it now works as before. Thanks for the information here guys.

Do excuse me, does someone know where I can find the sw of editing (VW-DTM20E) for the NV-DS60EG? :?: It seems that cannot be found! :???:
 

I answer to myself: the program Motion DV Studio contained in the cd VW-DTM20E can be found it to this :arrow: address:

Unfortunately I have ascertained that the version of MotionDVStudio suitable to the operation with the door firewire is the 3.0 while in the link that I have posted there is the 6.0.what it works only with door USB.... The continuous search.

I have found the **broken link removed** of MotionDV Studio 3 but I don't succeed to downloading the program. Does someone know how to do it?

Two red flashes mean S-reel lock "false" code - see Lars Hansen message above. I have a NV-DS29 ( which is almost identical to NV-DS30) with the same problem but rather dismantling and rocking the FPC cable I slapped the camera twice on the bottom and now it works now! The slaps probably restored the cable connection. If it stops working again I'll take it apart and jiggle the cable connector.
