It is a simple amplifier on LM3886. It is a useful device for a home or small party – it is powerful and cheap and what is very important for a beginner – not too much complicated.

Supply:
The amplifier is powered from a transformer 2x28V 250W. It also uses a 35A bridge, 4x10000uF capacitor. The device is equipped with Standby system of own construction with a separate small transformer. The power supply on the rear switch does not consume a lot of energy.

Standby:
That system is based on a flip-flop. The main assumption was that the turn on should not be on a toggle switch and have a R/G diode indicating the status of the amplifier (red – standby, green – play). Executive system consists of an optotriac and triac.

Preamplifier:

The schematic of preamplifier can be found here: LINK.

Power amplifier:
It was made of a kit AVT2180 based on LM3886. It is simple and easy to make.
