ZXLD1370 LED driver switching frequency...how to calculate in Buck mode?

The ZXLD1370 LED driver datasheet says that it regulates its switching frequency to 400KHz (bottom of page 5 of datasheet)
However, page 14 of the datasheet states the following……..


**The control loop also regulates the switching frequency by varying the level of hysteresis (the ripple in the inductor current). The hysteresis has a defined minimum (typ 5%) and a maximum (typ 30%).**


-So what happens when the hysteresis in the inductor current is at 30% (maximum) and yet the frequency is well above 400KHz?…..will the ZXLD1370 allow the inductor current to have more than 30% ripple in that case, in order to bring the switching frequency down to 400KHz?
