I am doing a project with RSSI positioning system on a mobile robot platform made by Nex Robotics :Firebird V
.It is a 2560 based platform and has a Zigbee module onboard (in built) but the manual of the robot does not give the details that with which port/pin of the microcontroller the zigbee rssi (pin 6 of zigbee) is connected:?:.So we are stuck. We are trying to contact the manufacturers.
Maybe our approach is entirely wrong but we are newbies and any help.any help at all will be highly appreciated...Thanks in advance.

There are 3 ways t oacess RSSI pin.

1. Pin 17A on the main board is connected to the RSSI
2. On the left top side (10 O clock) you can solder wire at W4 Led which is connected to the RSSI.
3. YOu ca directly solder a jumper wire on the XBee'spin itself and connect that wire to the input capture pin of a timer which you will get on the exapinsion slot of the microcontroller adaptor board.

solution given by the manufacturers....
