When I type the command icfb& on the terminal, errors display as follow:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
*WARNING* X Window Display Initialization failure
*WARNING* (DISPLAY ":0.0")

Cadence didn't get started.
How can I solve the problem?

The X server refused your connection, use the xhost command to add your host.

thank you. in fact i've solve it: I use the statement setenv DISPLAY myIP:0.0

I must try your method next time the warning message display!

Just out of curiosity, if you open a new terminal and enter "echo $DISPLAY", what is returned?
