Woven fiberglass, Tufnol or Asbestos?

Hi,
I am trying to identify what material a shaft on an old Collins KWM-2A is made of. The shaft passes close to the tubes and it is connected from the front panel switch to the internal power amplifier assembly. Here are some pics of the shaft sold on ebay and they may help you identify if it is made out of Woven fiberglass, Tufnol or Asbestos?
