Hi, can someone help to explain the working principle of the functional block diagram of LM2595 ic, which is a type of step down regulator ic and the function of each components in LM2595?

I couldn't find any information i wanted from the internet, the internet mainly just explain application of LM2595.

Original National Semiconductor datasheet shows a slightly different block diagram.

I didn't came across a detailed explanation, you'll have to figure it out yourself with the help of switch mode regulator text books.

Alright, thanks alot for the correction of the block diagram.
May I know if there's any recommendations for switch mode regulator text books?

.. or by asking a more detailed question here.
(your question of post#1 was too general)

But as FvM wrote, please first go through some general step down regulator tutorial.
