I have to design an electronic system that has to work reliably in extreme voltage fluctuations of 170 - 295 VAC and the total maximum power consumption is 4000W.

Please advise what kind of power supplies should I use. Most switchmode power supplies that I have seen work upto 264VAC.

Can you use an autotransformer to lower the range to match the supply input requirements?
