wireless power transmission using bq500110 ??

i wanna design a wireless power transmission circuit using bq500110 from texas .

if it is possible, can anyone show me a way to develop the circuit ?:roll::?::|:lol:

i have attached pdf document of bq500110 .....

u can use it for ur reference and suggest me!!!!!!!!

It looks to be intriguing. "The industry’s first wireless power dedicated digital controller..."

Its pins appear to be tiny and close together. Can you solder this small size?

Notice that it needs to communicate with a counterpart IC controller in the device being charged.

Have you made a project using wireless power transfer, and got it to work?

soldering doesn't matter we can solder small sizes using special soldering gun?????

but what the question is , it is possible r not??????
 

The IC appears to do a lot, however I don't believe the IC will perform miracles. Which is to say, you need more than the IC if you want to transmit power without wires.

There's the transmitter section, to broadcast magnetic energy. There's the receiving device, which has an antenna which is tuned to absorb the energy, and a stage to convert it to voltage/current.

For the IC to be of use it must communicate with another IC nearby. Through radio or magnetic signals. The receiving device will ask for power to be transmitted to it.

For small devices this can only work over a distance of a few inches.

The IC (or IC's) will not necessarily allow the system to transmit power over a greater distance than your coils and antennae already can achieve.
